MEET OUR INSTRUCTORS

 Olivia brings an impressive combination of collegiate playing experience, leadership, and a passion for developing the next generation of softball players. 

She is currently a Graduate Assistant Softball Coach at Carroll University after completing an outstanding collegiate career at Purdue Northwest University, where she played catcher.

During her time at PNW, Olivia established herself as a force both behind the plate and at the plate. Her standout 2025 season included a .397 batting average, 48 hits, 9 doubles, 6 home runs, and a team-leading 39 RBIs. Defensively, she threw out 13 runners attempting to steal, tying PNW’s single-season record.

Her performance earned her Second Team All-GLIAC and NFCA Second Team All-Midwest Region honors.

Olivia also competed in Northwoods League Softball with the Minot Honeybees, gaining valuable experience competing against some of the top collegiate players from across the country. In 2025, she helped the Honeybees reach the first-ever Northwoods League Softball Championship Series, and in 2026, she was selected to the inaugural Northwoods League Softball All-Star Game. Her experience at the next level has only added to her knowledge, competitive mindset, and passion for the game.

As our Softball Development Coordinator, Olivia will play a pivotal role in building and growing 643’s softball program, developing programming and training opportunities, and working directly with our youth athletes to help them strengthen their skills, confidence, and overall understanding of the game.   

   Brayden is currently a high school pitcher.  As a freshman, he was ranked 15th among pitchers in the state, quickly establishing himself as one of the top young arms in Wisconsin.

In addition to his high school career, Brayden spent two seasons playing travel baseball with the Racine Steelheads and the last two seasons with Forceout.  Competing in PBR and Perfect Game tournaments, he earned a #7 state ranking among pitchers in the Class of 2028.

Following in the footsteps of his father, Brayden has begun sharing his knowledge with the next generation of players.  He works with aspiring pitchers in the U9–U11 divisions, focusing on proper arm slot, generating velocity through core engagement, and developing strong lower-body mechanics to build a balanced and effective pitcher.

   Jaxon is a dedicated baseball player with 12 years of experience and is currently recognized as one of the top catchers in his high school division, known for his exceptional defensive skills. In addition to competing at the high school level, he has spent the past four seasons playing travel baseball with the Racine Steelheads.

Beyond catching, Jaxon has contributed as a starting pitcher for the Steelheads U19 team, highlighted by an impressive perfect game against the Beloit U19 Legion team in July 2025. He also brings versatility to the field with experience at first base.

Off the field, Jaxon has built a strong reputation as an instructor, working with athletes in the U10, U11, U12, and U14 divisions. He specializes in training catchers and first basemen, focusing on proper mechanics, field awareness, and position-specific development.

 Coach Mike brings a wealth of baseball experience, knowledge, and passion to the game. After earning tryouts with the Milwaukee Brewers, Cleveland Indians, and St. Louis Cardinals organizations, he spent three years playing professional baseball in the minor leagues before a career-ending injury brought his playing days to an end.

Determined to stay involved in the sport he loves, Coach Mike founded and grew MVP Baseball, a successful travel baseball program in Dallas, Texas. As both owner and coach, he led two teams through the Little League World Series tournament circuit, advancing to the regional finals in back-to-back seasons.

In 2012, Coach Mike returned to Wisconsin and continued playing competitively in a men’s amateur baseball league until officially retiring at age 42. Since then, he has dedicated himself to coaching and developing young athletes, helping players build strong fundamentals, confidence, and character both on and off the field.

Most recently, Coach Mike has guided U14 and U18 teams to three consecutive undefeated seasons and was recognized as Coach of the Year by his association in 2024. His commitment to player development, leadership, and love for the game continue to make a lasting impact on the athletes and families he coaches.
